Returns and Exchanges: Made to order & Earrings

 

Unless otherwise stated, all products are made to order and as standard, we do not accept returns, exchanges or issue refunds. For hygiene reasons, we also do not accept returns on earrings.

Exceptions

Any requests to return or exchange a product will be considered, but may only be accepted under very limited circumstances:

  • If an item is faulty or incorrect upon delivery and you wish to return it, please write to designs@dumedume.co.uk. Requests must be made as soon as you have noticed a fault. If your request is accepted, we will arrange return shipping for you. Returns must be made within 14 days of you receiving the order in the original packaging provided. The item must be unworn and undamaged. Once we have received the product(s) and are satisfied with its condition, a full refund will be issued.

  • Initial shipping costs will not be refunded.

  • Requests to return or exchange will be assessed on a case by case basis.

  • If you wish to cancel an order, please do so within 1 hour of placing your order. After this, production will commence and the order cannot be cancelled and no refund will be issued.​

Returns and Exchanges: Rentals

​Select designs are available to rent and can be delivered by post or by appointment. To discuss your needs please contacts designs@dumedume.co.uk.

  • Rental pieces can be hired for a maximum of 2 weeks. Each rental is arranged on a case by case basis.

  • Failure to return a piece by the agreed 'return date' may result in you being charged the full value of the item with payment to Dume Dume Ltd expected immediately. If you are unable to meet the return date for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.

  • Hired pieces can be exchanged for another available piece during your 'borrow period'. To confirm such a request you may be asked to pay the difference in rental value between the original piece(s) and exchanged piece(s), if significantly higher. You may also be asked to pay a delivery fee for the exchanged item. You may only exchange an item once, after that we reserve the right to charge you again as a new rental. You will not receive a refund on the initial rental.

  • If you change your mind about your rental, we can arrange a return/collection. To receive a full refund you must notify us for your request immediately or within 6 hours of delivery/collection. The product(s) must be unworn and undamaged with its original packaging. Once we have received the product(s) and are satisfied, a full refund will be issued.

  • To protect ourselves against misuse we reserve the right to refuse a request for a refund or exchange at any time.

Payment

 

Payment for products or services can be made securely online by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Credit and Debit Cards and PayPal or via bank transfer. If you wish to pay by another method please write to us to discuss your specific needs.

Shipping

  • All orders are packaged and sent by our carefully selected couriers and require a signature upon delivery. All products are shipped from the United Kingdom.

  • You will receive shipping confirmation via email with your courier information and tracking number.

  • For all made to order items production time will vary between item but all items will be shipped between 10 - 15 days of the order.

  • Rental items delivered by post will be shipped within 24 hours of the order being made. If you require an item sooner or prefer a face to face appointment, please get in touch to discuss your needs
